MamaRed (aka Jerilynne) Knight collaborates with purpose-driven entrepreneurs and small businesses to take them from frustrated to freedom by systematizing, streamlining, and automating the "unsexy" back end stuff that drains their bank account, time and energy. She has been an up-close observer to, and revolutionary in, the ever-changing technology industry that threatens to overwhelm so many small businesses. After being thrown into the world that world with no training in the 70s, she swore that if she ever got the chance to do things with nice step-by-step instructions, she would.

She got her wish when, in the 80s, she convinced a company to hire her as a trainer and tech support specialist. Her frustration with the lack of clear instructions to share with her students led her to create new ways to explain and support people as they moved from typewriters to computers. She spent her days with the learners and her nights digging through stacks of what were supposed to be clear manuals written by techies that thought their solutions were so cool they didn't need explanations. They definitely did.

She made the leap from working for companies like EDS, Delco Electronics, and Xerox Corporation in 1988 when her seriously-ill infant son needed her at home. Started on a wing and a prayer with no customers and no clue how to write a proposal or do much of anything it took to run a business: she soon learned it wasn't as easy as it looked.

Her client list grew into a who's who of big business as she developed innovative, cost-cutting ways to streamline their business so they could compete in a market now run by constant technological innovations and tools.

After a serious illness left her with plenty of time to think about why she was really here, she realized it was time for a change: people with big messages were floundering because running a business and figuring out technology left them with no time to do what they loved. And that was just plain not OK.

So she reshaped, rebranded and restructured, learning her way through what it takes to use the latest and greatest to run a business in the 21st century. Those with a passion for making the world a better place know MamaRed as an advocate for getting their unique message to those who need it, personalized in a way that matches their vision, mission and skills.
